One where they’re teenagers, the other they’re middle-aged, both in our present time.

They’re so old that the new show has two timelines. So why not give it some TLC now? After all, Beavis and Butt-Head have been in the zeitgeist for 30 years now. Sure, things can be timeless, but if you don’t slap a new coat of paint on it once in a while… maybe tighten some screws… eventually “it” will be broke. “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” That’s a stupid way to live life.
